Angry Video Game Nerd



Michael "Mike" Matei is an executive producer for Cinemassacre Productions. The story centers around the alleged burial of over 1 million copies of the proclaimed "worst video game of all time", E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600, as The Nerd embarks on a quest to prove that there is nothing buried there after being pressured by fans to review the video game, while being pursued by federal authorities who believe he is investigating Area 51 and the crash of an unidentified flying object.

Another compilation album was released in 2013 containing the music derived from the Nerd's video game. On May 17th, they uploaded a parody of the Angry Video Game Nerd intro using the clip (shown below, right). That just sort of cheapens the characters to make an entire game that totally deviates from the core Zelda gameplay.

Considered as one of the pioneering internet reviewers in its history, the Nerd was highly influential in bringing online video reviews to the mainstream public. Matei has also worked on different series of Rolfe's such as Board James , in which he has his own character, the cheating Jerkass Motherfucker Mike.

In response to them and to the games, he derives comic appeal from excessive and surrealistic use of fantasy scenarios, anger, profanity and habitual consumption of alcohol while reviewing video games.

Originally meant to act as a means of adding more content for the fans to enjoy while new episodes for popular shows such as Board James, You Know What's Bullshit!?, and The Angry Video Game Nerd, are being produced, James & Mike Monday's has become a major hit for the duo.

The AVGN reviews pornographic games that were developed for Atari 2600: Custer's Revenge, Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em, Bachelorette Party, Bachelor Party, Gigolo, Philly Flasher, Cathouse Blues, Knight on the Town, Jungle Fever. It's watching an episode of AVGN but as the length of a movie, as the name implies.

We since then, there has been a serious split, about people who can't stand it and people who understand that James is ing busy doing his movie, so he offered Mike to take over the channel. The show revolves around the Nerd's commentary of old and typically commercially unsuccessful video games which he deems to be of particularly low-quality, unfair difficulty or poor design.

Mike Matei serves as the executive producer for Cinemassarce, the website of The Angry Video Game Nerd , and helps write, edit, and star in the channel's videos. The feud began when the Nostalgia Critic posted a video online where he expressed his disgruntlement towards the Angry Video Game Nerd due to their similarities.
